How is urban adventures connected with Intrepid travel? |
Urban Adventures is a brand of the Intrepid Group, which is made up of four tour operator brands, more than 20 destination management companies, and a not-for-profit foundation.
Our common thread? We're all passionate about using local knowledge to take our travellers off-the-beaten-track. For the Intrepid Group, it's all about delivering the most authentic experience possible in order to change the way people see the world. |
How does the urban adventures structure work? |
We are a network of 150+ locally owned tour companies.
Each city is it's own business (registered locally) with an owner & it's own team, all locally hired. The local teams operate under the Urban Adventures brand with an exclusive license for their city. Local teams are responsible for their own marketing, sales & management with the full support of our Global Team. Our local teams vary, from small start-ups run by one person, to larger teams of 15+. Each city can vary in their growth rate. Our Global Team is spread out across the world and is responsible for growing the company & supporting our local businesses in everything from mentoring new business owners, to offering training & regular conferences. |
How does the recruitment process work? |
If you are applying for a job with one of our local teams, you will be put in touch directly with that local team, who can provide you more details about the job (they also might ask you for more information) & explain their local recruitment process.
If you're applying for a job on the Global Team, you will be contacted by the Manager of the department you're applying for (Sales, Marketing, etc.) |
